Check In & Check Out: Check In is at 4pm & Check Out is at 11am. Due to heavy rental volume and the thoroughness of our housekeeping staff we are unable to offer early check ins or late check outs. Please respect the next scheduled guest by being prompt when departing so the housekeeping staff can start cleaning the cabin for the next guest.
Age Restriction: There is a 25 year old minimum age limit to reserve a cabin, and the individual responsible for booking the cabin must stay at the property. All guests are required to show proof of identification at check in, any reservations made under false pretenses will be voided by Cuddle Up Cabin Rentals and the booking party will remain liable for all rental fees.
*Cuddle Up Cabin Rentals does NOT permit parties, weddings, wedding receptions, rehearsal dinners, etc. at any of its properties, failure to observe this policy could result in the automatic cancellation of your reservation without reimbursement and/or immediate eviction.
Making a Reservation: To make a reservation you can call our office at 1-706-964-6032 or 1-877-628-3353, or you can reserve your cabin through our website’s secure online booking system. All reservations are subject to a booking fee that is 2% of the total rental rate, less cleaning and taxes. You must use a credit card at the time of booking to put down a payment in the sum of $300. This $300 payment confirms your reservation and is deducted from your total rental balance. When making a payment or putting a security hold down for a cabin only the person whose name appears on the card can authorize the use of the card. We have no control over the restrictions credit card companies have put into place to protect their cardholders. If the cardholder is not present to authorize the use of the card at booking we cannot place a hold on a cabin.
Payment of Rental Balance Policy: All rental balances must be paid using cash, money order, travelers check or credit card fourteen (14) days prior to the scheduled date of arrival. If arrival date is less than 14 days away from date of booking payment is expected in full using a credit card at the time of booking. DO NOT send personal checks to pay the remaining balance due. Unless updated information is provided our office staff will automatically charge the remaining rental balance to the card we have on file fourteen (14) days before the scheduled arrival. Cuddle Up Cabin Rentals is not responsible for any overdraft charges incurred by the automatic collection of the rental balance. At 9:00am on the morning of your scheduled date of arrival a $250 minimum damage hold that MUST be placed on a credit card in order to stay at any property. Some cabins may require a higher security depoist. If we are unable to collect the balance due on the credit card provided within 48 hours of the date the balance is due we will cancel the reservation due to insufficent funds and retain the original $300 made to secure the cabin as a cancellation penalty.
**Should a credit card be unavailable at the time of booking, a check can be used only for the reservation deposit with the addition of a $25.00 administrative fee and the following restrictions: A check for the $325 (total reflects $300 deposit and $25.00 administrative fee) must be received within (4) four business days of the booking, or the reservation will be canceled. Any reservations canceled because of delayed check payment are subject to all cancellation policies and fees. Due to demand, agent(s) do not accept checks for reservations made less than (30) thirty days before arrival or for reservations made for holiday rentals. If you plan to use a check for the initial deposit, be certain it is addressed correctly and mailed in a timely manner to avoid cancellation & additional fees. Checks that must be reissued due to incorrect address or checks that are returned are subject to a $35.00 service fee.
Security Deposit: A credit card must be presented at time of check in for a security deposit against any possible damage done to the cabin and to ensure all policies have been met. The security hold is a minimum $250, though it may be higher for some properties. When making a payment or putting a security hold down for a cabin only the person whose name appears on the card can authorize the use of the card. If you cannot provide a valid credit card at check in for your security deposit you will not be permitted to access the cabin. The security hold is not an actual charge to your account. No charges will be made to the credit card if no damage is found evident to the cabin and all policies have been respected. If damages surpass the minimum $250, additional charges will be applied. ONLY credit cards can be used for the damage hold, guests that do not have one at their disposal at the time of check in will not be permitted to stay at the cabin and will remain liable for all rental fees. WE DO NOT ACCEPT CHECKS FOR THE DAMAGE HOLD! We strongly caution agains using debit/credit cards for security holds. Although Cuddle Up Cabin Rentals only has a small window of time to collect funds set aside for damages, the release of funds back into bank accounts can be tied up by the issuing bank and partnered credit card comoany for as long as 30 days past tenant departure when a debit card is used.
Changes to Your Booking: Once a reservation is made changes to the date and/or property are subject to a non-refundable $30.00 fee per alteration. Also, changes to the reservation date and/or property can only be made fourteen (14) or more business days prior to check in date provided the reservation is not a holiday booking. Rentals are based on availability, and once a property has been reserved and held for a tenant(s) other inquiries will be turned away. Thus, alterations regarding property location or date of reservation could prevent other rentals. If an emergency requires changes to the reservation less than fourteen (14) days from scheduled check in, or if the changes alter the properties holiday availability penalty fees will increase accordingly. Changes to reservation made three (3) days or less before scheduled arrival will result in at minimum a fee equivalent to one night’s rental of the originally reserved property, in addition to all rental fees associated with other requested property.
PLEASE NOTE: This policy does not include additions/subtractions to the number of guests. There will be NO CHARGE CHANGES IN THE GUEST COUNT or adding a day. (All other normal rates still apply)
Confirmation of Reservation: After making a reservation, you will receive a rental confirmation by e-mail, or if you request it by fax or mail. This statement will supply your name, the cabin you have reserved, your rental fees, directions to our office, and your late check in information. It is your responsibility to insure you have all the proper information for your rental stay. Your reservation confirmation is the final step of the reservation process, if you have not received this document and your Liability Release please contact our office immediately!
Listing & Pricing: We have made every effort to ensure that all information on Cuddle Up Cabin Rentals website is correct. Rates, fees, and taxes are subject to change without notice. Advertised "nightly rates" do not include state lodging taxes, booking & cleaning fees and are subject to change. Rates for holidays, special events, and weekends may be higher. Minimum night requirements may vary for holidays and special events. For the most recent and accurate assessment of property availability please contact our office, availability can change drastically and our online availability calendars can fall behind quickly during periods of heavy traffic. Acts of God/Construction Noise: Cuddle Up Cabin Rentals shall not be liable for events beyond their control which may interfere with guest occupancy, including but not limited to Acts of God, acts of governmental agencies, fire, strikes, war, inclement weather and construction noise from nearby sites. NO DISCOUNT OR REFUND will be offered in these circumstances.
Extra Hot Tub Cleaning: HOT TUBS HAVE BEEN DRAINED, CLEANED & REFILLED PRIOR TO ARRIVAL. There will be a $35.00 charge if guest(s) require an additional cleaning to the hot tub during guest(s) stay.
Smoking: NO SMOKING inside any of our cabins!
Cancellation Policy: For our guests protection we have a 3 step process to cancel all reservations. To cancel a reservation, we require a phone call to our office to notify our staff and recieve a quote for any penalties, this quote is only valid for 5 days from the date the cancellation number is provided. You are then required to mail a certified letter stating you are canceling your reservation. We WILL NOT cancel the reservation until your intent is documented in writing. Once a letter is recieved by our staff we will refund in accordance with our cancellation policies (and the quote provided if no more than 5 days have passed since it was provided). Once we have your letter on file requesting cancellation, we have the documentation necessary to terminate the rental agreement and we can cancel the booking and provide you with your cancellation number. As a security measure we DO NOT CANCEL any reservations until we receive written consent, preferably in the form of a certified letter from the individual responsible for booking the cabin and citing the cancellation number. The cancellation letter must state the guest’s intent to cancel their reservation. Please mail all certified cancellation letters to: Cuddle Up Cabin Rentals, P.O. There is an "anytime" reservation cancellation fee of $30.00. Reservations cancelled with less than a 1 month notice are subject to a $100.00 fee. Any reservation cancelled with less than a 2 week notice forfeits $300 deposit. No Shows and Same Day/Arrival Day Cancellations are subject to the entire rental fee. Our cancellation policy also applies to last minute bookings as well. Sorry, No Exceptions.
